I have no idea why, but I seem to currently be experiencing a spike in page views.

My very curious and puzzled mind would be very grateful if anyone could help me figure out what's causing this ~

I realised I have so many pieces that I started because I enjoy visualising general concepts, but never finished due to the tediousness of and lack of skill for final rendering. As a result, this account has been terribly inactive and empty, dominated by lesser quality art from when I was younger and didn't hold myself to the higher standards I do now.

Over the coming weeks, perhaps months, I shall try and dig up that unfinished work, and upload them with just a little bit of retouching. Hopefully that will be steps in the right direction, and give me enough momentum to give my gallery some new life.

So my laptop I used to draw with is utterly dead, and my last year of A Levels is starting to get a little hectic. I'm afraid that means I'm probably not going to upload much for a fair while, possibly aside from some photos I took over the summer.

Thank you to everyone who watches me, and also to each and every other visitor to my account and gallery, one-timers included. You can rest assured that this account will be back to normal activity level in due time.

My name is Sadhira, and I'm soon to be 17. I'm from Sri Lanka, but I've also lived in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and am currently residing in England. Can't honestly say it's the best of the lot, but it's definitely growing on me. I'm mostly likely going to persue something sciencey as a career, but I've always, always, loved drawing. I still constantly doodle and sketch in lessons. .....even though I most probably shouldn't.

When I was 13 and an extremely enthusiastic player of the website Neopets, I noticed all these amazing digital artworks by other players of the creatures created by that site. It didn't take too long at all, and being the somewhat techy yet artistic geek that I am, I completely fell in love with digital art. An Intuos3 A5 Wide Wacom tablet was my next birthday present. Endless yays.

The fantasy creatures of Neopets were of course my main subject matter to begin with, and though I've more or less stuck with the genre, I've moved on to designing my own characters and worlds, too. Much, or rather most, of them are still in my head or merely rough black and white skectches. But between school and my other interests, I hope to get them on to here, too. Eventually.

As you can see from my gallery, I've also tried my hand at fractals, photography, and a touch of photo manipulation, and I hope to grow as an artist at these, too, whenever and whereever I can. Hope my stuff is of some interest to you

Right, so my name's Sadhira.

I'm a now 20 year old Sri Lankan with a twin sister, Anithra. I've lived in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Sri lanka, Singapore, and currently, Britain. Just so you know.

My favourite cartoon of all time is Avatar the Last Airbender. I love cartoons. I love dragons. I'm a science geek and a sci-fi freak (and extremely proud), too. One of my favourite pasttimes is watching science documentaries. I became a huge Star Wars fan this year. And I think dragons are way cool.

I am also a MASSIVE K-Pop fan. I keep up to date with quite a large amount of the mainstream artists, but my absolute favourite groups in the order I got into them are DBSK, Super Junior, and BEAST ^^ I've also watched several Korean dramas and loads of variety shows, so yeah.

I got a tablet, Intuos3 A5 Wide, two days after my 14th birthday, which I love and use for my pictures. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to use it a lot, which is actually quite sad...and my Corel Painter thing that came with it never worked. I've also never had the fortune to use Photoshop. But GIMP and Open Canvas have been pretty decent alternatives, and I've done some great stuff with them. I also have played around with Apophosis a bit, though I'm no where near as good as some people.

I used to be an avid Neopian, as you might be able to tell from some my pictures. I joined Neopets www.neopets.com when I was twelve. My main account is aqua_fountain www.neopets.com/userlookup.pht… and I even have an art page www.neopets.com/~Mablezaphire that I'd always tried to add to. Unforunately, my three-year adoration for that site has pretty much died down now, but it'll still hold memories of fun times, making amazing new friends, and of new experiences.

By the way, even though the date on this entry is mega old, I do keep it updated
